Not being American I often thought that houses in western movies were as they were for purely aesthetic reasons , conceived and designed by an architect designer hired specifically for this purpose and that had nothing to do with reality .
Obviously some aesthetic improvements have been made but largely aesthetic lines were in reality as in movie . These houses and the street scenes even existed in reality . That something specific passed in bygone times till nowadays … Here are some pictures of buildings, houses and streets that existed in reality .

It was love at first sight with „Schoolyard Monster” , a story written by Frank Martin .
It has a good suspense and the story flows spectacular . Besides spectacular the story has a profound psychological content . I just loved it .
The story was published in an anthology named „Modern Testament – vol 2” by Insane Comics and yesterday I found on https://www.ap2hyc.com/2016/08/review-modern-testament-2/ a short review of „Schoolyard Monster” a short review of the tale :
<< „The first tale in the book, “Schoolyard Monster,” deals with Joseph, a bullied kid at school, who suddenly finds a golem in his yard one day. Things escalate from there as Joseph’s golem takes on his bullies. The illustrations, done by Adrian Crasmaru, are in a distinct style. The colors are similar to water color, often bleeding into each other, while the outlines are thin and detailed. Crasmaru brings out every little detail in his character’s expressions, and his water-colored colors give the tale an almost abstract quality. Frank Martin, meanwhile, experiments with different styles of narration here, as the whole event is told primarily in a flashback. The result is a haunting, hair-raising tale.”>>
I want to show you where you can find some of my works .
My debut in comics was alongside Kelly Bender , a young Canadian author then , a still young excellent prolific author now . Was a mute western story in five pages appeared in an anthology at Evil Moose Publishing . You still can get one copy here :
My second work is also a classic western story written by Kelly Bender . Old school made on paper in watercolor , the story was published at Insane Comics .
Last work I show you is a wonderful piece of story written by Frank Martin . Is the first story in an anthology .
The adaptation for comic book of the Restitution movie script made by Kelly Bender goes very well . I also received the original script written by Jake Stetler and Jeff Davis . As a matter of fact Jeff Davis plays the main character of the movie , Cordell Pierce .
I started working at a comic book adaptation from „Restitution – The Legend of Cordell Pierce” movie . Kelly Bender writes the adaptation of the original script made by Jake Stetler. I’ll draw, I’ll paint with watercolors and ink the story and Micah Myers will do letters .
Cordell Pierce will be Jeff Davis .
I can post only pictures allowed by publisher . So here they are :
Almost finished the third episode of „Time Bandit„. Working on page 09 and I expect the script with three new pages. Up to page 08 you can see from the photos what happened in the story.
The process was laborious, working practically the same page three times: once in pencil, watercolor second time, and finally ink.
Lots of pictures to show from the two stories that I’m working in the same time : „Never A Lone Ranger” and „Time Bandit”
As I said, I’m working on two projects at once and it’s hard, but what’s easy? After finishing a page from the new episode of three pages of „Time Bandit„, I started working on the story „Never A Lone Ranger,” a steampunk western of which I draw only 7 pages, pencil and ink. I like enormously both stories!
The main character of the story I work on , „Time bandit” , has a lot of problems with watches , police and his cellphone…
I have already sent today, the third page of the story Time Bandit, in all three formats: jpeg, tiff and psd. Here is the jpeg web version .
I do sketch first and then move on to drawing in pencil . After that , starting with watercolors and put blue everywhere in shadow. Then, layer by layer, I paint everything . So , tomorrow the page will be ready . There are two more panels left …
I’m already working on a new page of project „Time Bandit„
As I said yesterday working hard lead me to finish the second page of „Time Bandit” . I used pencils first , then watercolors and , at the end ink.
A little more and a new page will be ready
Facem din tot o bucurie!
