Am inceput scanarea vechilor planse ale primelor comic book-uri desenate de mine si, unele dintre ele publicate prin 2012 sau 2013, daca nu ma insel. Din cele patru comicsuri care vor intra intr-o antologie pe care vreau s-o realizez prin forte proprii, doar doua au fost publicate.
Antologia va cuprinde, deci, patru povestiri in format banda desenata, alb-negru:
Incep cu coperta provizorie a primei povestiri si cu prima pagina.
I started scanning the old pages of the first comic books drawn by me, some of them published in 2012 or 2013, if I’m not mistaken. Of the four comics that will be included in an anthology that I want to make by my own strength, only two have been published.
I start with the provisional cover of the first story and the first page.
James Marshall „Jimi” Hendrix s-a nascut cu numele Johnny Allen Hendrix in 27 Noiembrie, 1942 in Seattle, Washington. Incepe sa cante la chitara la 15 ani.
Tarziu, in 1966 se muta in Anglia .
Intr-un timp scurt, Hendrix ajunge in top ten hits cu „Hey Joe”,
„Purple Haze”
„The Wind Cries Mary”
sub formula „the Jimi Hendrix Experience”.
Hendrix a fost inspirat muzical de rock and roll-ul american si de electric blues. A fost unul dintre primii chitaristi ai lumii care au folosit pe scara larga in rockul mainstream alterarea tonurilor cu efecte ca fuzz, octavia, care era construita de inginerul lui de sunet, wah-wah si uni-vibe. A fost primul artist care a folosit un procesor electronic de sunet stereofonic.
Jimi hendrix atinge faima in statele unite ale americii dupa ce participa la Monterey pop festival in 1967, iar in 1968 cel de-al treilea album, ultimul de studio „Electric Ladyland” ajunge number one in U.S.. A fost cel mai de succes album ca vanzari si singurul sau number one album. Cel mai bine platit artist, tine capul de afis la Woodstock festival in 1969 si la Wight festival in 1970.
Prin Mai 1966, in timpul unei cantari, Linda Keith, prietena chitaristului Keith Richard de la Rolling Stones, il remarca pe Hendrix, spunand mai tarziu ca felul in care canta a hipnotizat-o.
L-a invitat la o bautura si de atunci au ramas prieteni. Keith l-a recomandat managerilor Rolling Stonesilor, dar acestia n-au reusit sa vada potentialul artistic si material al lui Jimi si nu l-au acceptat. In schimb, Chas Chandler care parasea the Animals si era interesat in a manageria si a produce artisti, a fost interesat de Hendrix, mai ales dupa ce ii placu versiunea lui Hendrix a cantecului Hey Joe. Convins fiind ca putea scoate un single de succes din versiunea asta , cu artistii potriviti, Chandler il aduce la Londra pe Hendrix si pe 24 septembrie 1966 semneaza un contract de manageriat si productie intre Jimi Hendrix , el si ex-managerul trupei Animals Michael Jeffrey.
Prin gasirea lui Noel Redding si a lui Mitch Mitchell se cladeste the Jimi Hendrix Expirience. Ce urmeaza este istorie.
Pe 17 Septembrie, Jimi Hendrix are o reprezentatie la Ronnie Scott’s jazz club, impreuna cu Eric Burdon si War.
Este un jam session care se spune ca ar fi fost inregistrata de cineva si ca ar fi rezultat un album post-mortem din acea inregistrare.
A doua zi, pe 18 Septembrie 1970, Jimi Hendrix moare stupid, asfixiat de propria voma in urma inghitirii unei doze mari de barbiturice.
Jimi Hendrix nu este un mare chitarist pentru ca a murit foarte tanar, ci este un mare artist pentru ca a putut sa faca atat de multe in atat de putin timp! God rest his soul!

De multicel timp vroiam sa vad filmul Sicario: Day of the Soldado. L-am vazut si zic: un film foarte bun. Cred ca la fel de bun ca primul film Sicario. Josh Brolin si Benicio in roluri ca de obicei.
Efecte speciale de un realism atroce. Muzica, ceva mai sumbru, amenintator si potrivit nu am intalnit.
Filmul nu se prea ofera sa dea raspuns la intrebari. Partile politice arata ca secretarul de stat facea si dregea, presedintele fiind, de fapt, un papa lapte care avea alte viziuni despre rezolvarea problemelor. Justificarile personajului lui Josh Brolin nu sunt nici ele convingatoare, nefiind, astfel, importante in economia filmului.
Ce nu mi-a placut este evidenta altui sequel. Filmul arata prea clar intentia de a continua si a spune povestea noului Sicario.
Sa ne asteptam, asadar, la o urmare.
Daca il vezi azi dupa amiaza, Sicario este filmul la care te gandesti intens si a doua zi, pana dupa amiaza tarziu. Nu-i putin lucru in ziua de azi in ceea ce priveste filmele.

A fost o data ca niciodata un mare actor. A jucat in multe filme memorabile facand roluri memorabile.
Partea buna (pentru noi) a gloriei marilor actori de la Hollywood este ca ei imbatranesc. Vedem, acum, in locul marelui actor un batran cabotin care nu mai are cu ce-si plati facturile. In schimbul platii facturilor si asigurarii unei batraneti mai mult decat confortabile, mama Hollywood il plateste pe post de latrau hidos, il asmute grotesc impotriva oponentilor ideologiilor de sorginte marxista adoptate de Hollywood, impotriva oponentilor socialismului gaunos pe care Hollywood si campusurile studentesti vor sa-l instaureze in America.
In aceste conditii vreau sa spun doar cateva cuvinte:
Un raufacator din Marsilia, un altul evadat si un fost politist pun la punct furtul secolului.Comisarul Mattei de la brigada criminala le intinde o cursa.
Cercul rosu apare in anul 1970 cu o distributie de exceptie. Actori in voga in epoca, si nu numai, dau un farmec aparte filmului. Alain Delon, Bourvil, Gian Maria Volonte, Yves Montand. Regizorul Jean Pierre Melville prevazuse initial o alta distributie pentru film. Lino Ventura in rolul comisarului Mattei, Paul Meurisse in rolul lui Jansen si Jean-Paul Belmondo pentru rolul lui Vogel. Bourvil joaca in Cercul rosu in ultimul lui film si interpreteaza unul din rarele lui roluri serioase, dramatice dupa rolurile din Le Miroir a deux faces (1958) si L’Arbre de Noël (1969). Pentru prima data in cariera lui este citat pe generic cu numele intreg Andre Bourvil. Putin timp dupa turnarea filmului el va muri.
Alain Delon joaca aici pentru a doua oara sub bagheta maestrului Jean-Pierre Melville dupa Le Samouraï (1967). Cei doi vor mai lucra impreuna si la Un flic (1972).
Ca si Alain Delon, François Périer mai lucrase cu Jean-Pierre Melville la Le Samouraï, numai ca acum joaca un rol de raufacator.
Le cercle rouge este penultima piatra pretioasa a regizorului Melville. O atmosfera specifica filmelor lui cu lungi secvente fara dialog, cu taceri si un suspans bine gandit. In filmele de acum, linistea, tacerile personajelor precum si relatiile cauzale sunt in mod obisnuit ignorate. In film apar doar barbati si filmul este doar despre barbati, indiferent ca sunt politisti sau hoti ei se ghideaza dupa un cod al onoarei care se refera la cum trebuie sa se comporte un barbat pentru a castiga respectul celorlalti barbati care inteleg codul. Watercolor is not a fad for me . I don’t use it of any whim . I can express what I want only with watercolor . I could color my comic pages digitally , but digitally has poor life for me , has less artistic plasticity . Examples :

As I said in the last post , the page 16 was finished in three days . I can show two beautiful panels .
Hundred of pictures unseen and never showed . Hundred of sketches , drawings , cover variants , tens of 2B pack of twelve mines , drawing books , erasers , brushes , watercolors , tens of researching drawings , tens of character sketches and in the end a great satisfaction ! This is in few words „Hang Low Aim High” comic book original script by Kelly Bender .
„Hang Low Aim High” is a western story comic book that I’ve made directly on 200g/square cm „Fabriano” paper . Was colored with watercolors for more plasticity and authenticity . The story was written by Kelly Bender and was published at „Insane comics„. Nic J Shaw did the letters .
I still have hundred of not showed pictures with the work process .

Together they wrote the script of a classic western movie with the above name . Kelly Bender , the prolific comic book writer was designated to write the comic book script , an adaptation from „Restitutionthemovie” . In a few pictures I will show you what am I doing with the Kelly Bender’s comic book script.

I continue to work on the comics pages „Restitution…” . It’s not easy when you have so many details to render the right scene but it is very nice to see that work result is satisfactory .
I like to draw westerns so I have a lot of patience when I work . What is inconvenient is that it lasts a long time and I try hard to shorten the time required .
I just finished work for today and pencil for a new page . I’m talking about a new page from „Restitution-The Legend of Cordell Pierce” comic book adaptation written by Kelly Bender from the original movie script . Everybody should know who Alejandro Jodorowsky is as everyone should know who Jeremy Petiqueux is . When two men of such artistic caliber meet arise breathtaking works of art .
Jeremy Petiqueux was born in 1984. He started 17 years alongside Philippe Delaby as colorist of the inevitable „Murena”. While continuing its color starts, it takes time to make a new series of pirates, Barracuda, scripted by Jean Dufaux. He also color-albums of the series „The Lament of the Lost Landes’. The death of Philippe Delaby, „his master” will accept to complete the remaining 21 boards of Volume 4 of the second cycle of „Lament for lost moors.” In 2016, the duo Dufaux – Jeremy back with the sixth and final volume.
I guess I can reveal that Jeff Davis who is a co-creator alongside Jake Stetler of „Restitution – The Legend of Cordell Pierce” movie script , trying to put together things to make a classic beautiful western become reality , has considered as location of the film „Bonanza Creek Movie Ranch Town” . In this location was filmed the recent Antoine Fuqua’s „Magnificent 7” . I show you some images from Fuqua’s film and images with „Bonanza Creek Ranch”. I must also say that nothing is settled yet … but wouldn’t it be great ?
